How To Use Fast Windows Hider

For use Fast Windows Hider and hide windows just needs two actions:

• Select windows what you want to hide
• Press the hotkey or click on the icon when you want to hide them
  

How To Open Main Dialog
For open main dialog press hotkey (SHIFT+F11 by default) or right-click on the Fast Windows Hider tray icon and select Options menu item.

How To Hide Windows
First at all you should choose windows which you want to be hidden. Second action press hotkey (SHIFT+F12 by default) or click on the icon of Fast Windows Hider in the tray. And all windows which contain in Hide list will be hidden. For unhide windows press the same hotkey (SHIFT+F12 by default) or click on the icon of program. All windows will be restored without any loss. For test Fast Windows Hider in main dialog there is Hide/Unhide button.

Note: The icon in tray is colored if any window isn’t hidden, otherwise the icon is grey.

How To Choose Windows For Hide
There are two ways to choose windows.

The First Way:
Main dialog contains two lists List of current windows and Hide list. In List of current windows there are all windows which are now currently open. In Hide list are windows which you chose for hide. Type any string of title of windows in Hide list. If all right the names of these windows in List of current windows will change colour on blue. At this way you can hide the group of windows which have common string in the title. Just type this common string. For example: type «internet» and all windows of Internet Explorer will be hidden.

The Second Way:
For choose window make double click on а name of this window in List of current windows and it will be selected in Hide list.

Note: The windows which has been chosen for hide change colour on blue.


How To Save Hide List
You can save Hide list just to press Save Hide List button. If you do it the list with chosen windows will be automatically loaded every time when program starts up and you can hide windows without any additional actions.

How To Correct Hide List
You can easily correct Hide list. If you want to exclude some window from Hide list just delete a name of this window from it. You also can correct а name of any windows in Hide list.

Refreshing Of Current List
Windows which you nearly open immediately and automatically appear in List of current windows.

Change Of Hotkeys
You can choose hotkeys which will be comfortable for you.
Hotkeys by default:
Hide/Unhide – SHIFT+F12
Show Options dialog - SHIFT+F11
For change hotkey put the mouse cursor into fields for hotkeys and press your combination of keys which you want. For accept new hotkeys press OK button.

Advanced Options

Fast Windows Hider also has advanced options:
• Hide icon of Fast Windows Hider in tray;
• Autorun with Windows startup.

Invisible Mode
If you want that Fast Windows Hider works in invisible mode check Hide icon of Fast Windows Hider in tray marker. This marker put away the icon of Fast Windows Hider from the tray.

Autorun
If you want that Fast Windows Hider start up together with Windows that check Autorun with Windows startup marker.

Note: By default Fast Windows Hider displays the icon in the tray and starts up together with Windows.
